Account Deletion

This page explains how TopTrade Challenge users can request deletion of an account, how requests are processed, and what categories of data may be deleted immediately or retained for legal, security, and operational reasons.

1. How to Request Account Deletion

You can request deletion of your TopTrade Challenge account in either of the following ways:

  1. Inside the app: log in, open Settings, and use the Delete Account option.
  2. By email: send your request from your registered email address to [email protected] with the subject line Account Deletion Request.

To protect account security, we may ask you to verify ownership of the account before completing a deletion request.

2. What Happens After You Submit a Request

  • Your account will be disabled so you can no longer access app features with that account.
  • We aim to review and process deletion requests within 7 business days.
  • If additional verification is required, processing may take longer.

3. Data That Is Deleted or De-Identified

After a valid deletion request is completed, we will delete or de-identify data that is no longer required, which may include:

  • Profile information such as nickname, avatar, and account preferences.
  • Login session records and device push tokens associated only with the deleted account.
  • Customer support messages and feedback content where retention is not required.
  • Marketing or non-essential analytics identifiers that can reasonably be removed from the account.

4. Data That May Be Retained

Some information may be retained after account deletion where required for legitimate business or legal reasons, including:

  • Transaction, payment, refund, and accounting records.
  • Records related to fraud prevention, abuse detection, platform security, or dispute handling.
  • Logs needed to comply with legal obligations, regulatory requests, or law enforcement requirements.
  • Limited internal records necessary to demonstrate that a deletion request was completed.

5. Effect of Deletion

  • Account deletion is intended to be permanent.
  • You may lose access to challenge history, rewards status, messages, and account settings associated with that account.
  • Deletion of an account does not automatically create a refund right for fees already paid.
